Belt of Karate in recognition of the great progress made in the diligent study of this art was awarded to students along with certificate on 7th November,2018. We expect them to endeavour for further progress in skill and character building in the future.

Hi-Tech Urban farming - Hydroponics

Eco club of Sunrise English Private School has joined the path paved by His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Sustainability through Hi- Tech Urban farming .The school has implanted the Green Ponics with the technology of Hydroponics in the latest technology used worldwide to grow plants in water without soil by adding nutrients

This venture was coordinated by Eco Club Coordinator Mrs Leena Maniyath .Inaugurated by the principal Thakur Mulchandhani on 5.11 2018 and presided by the Vice Principal Mrs Sheela John .

Our Marine Life

A team of students ,parents and teachers of Sunrise English Private School conducted an awareness campaign on 7/4/18 to protect our marine life in Mushriff Mall fish market. Our students explained very well about the trolling period of Sheri and Safi fish. They should not catch these two fish in the month of March and April because of the breeding period. Our students took a survey as first step and gave the booklets which includes the rules and regulations. The people around fish market were so cooperative and helpful.

Springs Cup Fives Football Tournament

With the exclusive aim of developing sportive spirits and encourage the feeling of togetherness Sunrise English Private School hosted Springs Cup fives football tournament on 07-04-2018, at school ground.

Students born on or after 2004 from different schools and clubs represented. It was a great opportunity for students to lead themselves and all of them showed a great level of enthusiasm.

Match started at 9AM, there were 16 teams grouped into four pools (A, B, C, D) for league matches. The group champions (The Model School, ADIS Al Wathba, Dunes International School and Oscar FC) entered to the semifinals. The Model School were the winners and ADIS Al Wathba were the runners up.

An aura of excitement pervaded the air as the prize distribution ceremony commenced at 3pm. When Dr. Thakur Mulchandani (Principal of Sunrise English Private School) felicitated the players and distributed the prizes for ‘Best player:Master Naeem Najeeb from the Model School ), for Best goal keeper:Master Mohammed Naushad from Model School , for ‘Best defender: Aman Noushad from ADIS Al wathba , also he awarded trophies for the winners and the runners.

The event, which was indeed a milestone in the history of SEPS, came to an end successfully with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sahir Mon (the HOD of Physical Education Department-SEPS), leaving thrilling memory in the hearts of each and every one present.

Speed Reading Competition by ‘Only Success’

Speed Reading Competition by ‘Only Success’ was organized on 16th April 2018 . It was an interesting, interactive session for grade 5 boys and girls as well. Mr. Lamy and Mr. Selvan conducted the session with much ease and motivated the children a lot. He explained the 5 factors behind slow reading. Competition booklet was issued to them later and they were made to go through 5 levels of speed reading and to record the time as well. The main target of the competition was to improve their concentration and enhance speed reading.

Year of Zayed - 2018

Wishing you all a blessed year 2018. To mark 100 years since the birth of the country’s Founding Father, 2018 has been declared the ​​“Year of Zayed” by the President, Sheikh Khalifa. “The Year of Zayed is a great national occasion when we will proudly share memories of the life of the Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his gift to us of deeply rooted values, principles and traditions that have become part of our Emirati identity". We at Sunrise ​are​ a part of this celebration. 

Parents Cricket and Football Team

Cricket selection for the parents was conducted by Sunrise English Private School with the help of Mr. Manikantan Nair holding B.C.C.I Level A coaching license.

We are planning to participate in football Veterans tournament in Abu Dhabi after couple of friendly matches. We will keep the fitness training and practice at least twice in a week based on the ground availability in Abu Dhabi and Mussafah.

Cricket and Football friendly matches will be conducted in the month of January 2018 after re opening of schools.​Thanking all our parents for support and cooperation in all our endeavors.

CHRISTMAS BELLS ARE RINGING; SANTA CLAUS IS HERE

“CHRISTMAS BELLS ARE RINGING; SANTA CLAUS IS HERE!”

The Christmas celebration of sunrise English private school commenced at sharp 10am in the assembly area. Grades 1 to 8 were present at the venue. The participants were from ​K​​G​1 to Grade​​ 8. The colorful and vibrant programs were indeed t a feast to the eyes. Children adorned in red and white clothes looked at their best. Principal Dr.Thakur Mulchandani and vice principal Mrs.Sheela john conveyed the Christmas message to entire school. They also wished the teachers and students a very merry Christmas and blessed new year. The Christmas songs sung by the little children added melody and rhythm to the air around. The colorful dances presented by students of various grades added vibrants to the entire program. The skit was captivating and very much interesting to the audience.

The presence of the santa claus amidst the crowd made the students enthusiastic and exited. The chill air around together with the Christmas songs filled fun and frolic to the scenario.

The entire program concluded with the vote of thanks.

Penalty Competition - @ Al Etihad Sports Academy

Al ethihad sports academy conducted penalty competition in which more than 700 participants took part. Sunrise School participated in all the categories and lifted tropies for,
