School Assembly

School Assembly

"It is said that coming together of people is a beginning, their keeping together is progress and working together is success."

At Sunrise English Private School, the morning assembly furnishes a platform for all the students and faculty members to come together and work towards achieving common objectives.

The assembly begins on a solemn note with melodious recitals of School Song, UAE National Anthem and Indian National Anthem. The students then conduct the assembly — class wise or house wise. The presentation includes a motivational thought for the day, elucidation of a new word for vocabulary building, a quick review of the current happenings round the world, a speech on a burning issue and some amazing facts to stimulate students' general knowledge. This provides an opportunity for all members of a School to communicate information and share learning experiences.

The morning assembly winds up after the respected Principal and Vice Principal address the gathering with their words of wisdom.

International Worker's Day

The Sunrise family firmly believes and follows the adage of 'Work is Worship'. Therefore, the International Worker's Day was celebrated with much aplomb in the School on 01st May, 2013.

To commemorate and honour the efforts, endeavours and struggles of the workers, a special assembly was organized by the students. The assembly presentations and the skit highlighted and appreciated the dignity of labour. The efforts of the non-teaching staff of Sunrise English Private School were praised and the workers were felicitated on the stage by the School authorities amidst thunderous sounds of applause. The event was marked by warm greetings and merriment and culminated after the distribution of sweets.

Investiture Ceremony

[Crowning of young Turks]

"The old order changeth yielding place to new." - Lord Tennyson

It was that time of the year again when the old order at Sunrise English Private School was revamped through a democratic appointment of Student Council 2013- 2014. Our School aims at training our students in Leadership Qualities and to groom them into Global leaders of tomorrow. Upholding this belief, the School responsibility baton was handed over to the young Turks who were selected

"by the students

of the students

for the students."
